yup..yup....Next time or WHY don't WE all go one time to CHP and walk it out all the way the blue trail then ride it after. Thanks "D" for that great idea....so when WE gonna do it?! got tired playing with the TV remote ;D ;D - and decided to strapped the Garmin....then off to Throgs again - - - brrbrrrr COLD!  |

So I stop by around 9:30am CHP still hard to ride the snow level to high and soft I was there for 15 min only

Nice try Serge. To be honest guys, I have been riding Stillwell these past couple of weeks; today included. Last week was so much better on the trail. Just a couple of inches of dry, loose snow and an inches or two of ice below that. Obviously, I had my studded tires on. With just a few times that I had to put my foot down cuz you only had about 12 inches of trail to ride on and then you just sink if you go beyond the 12" width. Also, the short steep hills I couldn't make but other than that it was great. Today, it was just a killer. You had about half the width of trail to ride on and the extra few inches of snow we had gotten made it so touggghhh. I probably put my feet down about 50 times cuz I just kept sinking when I went off to the side. The snow was also way softer than last week. Hoping the rain we're supposed to get this week will pack in the snow. Will be trying again next Sunday. See you guys there.

took the Chameleon SS out, been awhile though - coz I'm been under the weather since last week. But then decided to break out eventhough I am still not 101%...hehehehehe. Anyways, just went to my regular route and the only thing different today was this strong head winds the way back....not good Prance did you go out this PM? Sorry man, have to go in the AM - driver duties in the PM.   |

didn't catch you there inside CHP Mr. Prance, came 8:30ish. But was able to ride with Paul, Erwin, OmegaFSR, Kalog & Rol. Nice ride boyz!!!
