Even though I had the seat post an inch lower than required minimum insertion I can totally see why this happened, a lof of stress on that joint with a heavy weight like me in the saddle. Did some research online about warranty and Fisher makes it pretty clear that the lifetime warranty is only for the original owner(note to myself; never buy merchandise from shady colombians again ) I want a SS 29er by this weekend, wanted to get a new frame and recycle the rest but couldn't find any large GF frames online. Thinking about going all out Rig 09. Niner One9 is also sweeeet in tang color. Tribe's input appreciated, time is of the essence. Blue race next week!!

Go all the way! 09 GF rig, Niner, moots or surly will definitely help you reach to the podium and catch that elusive old horse in Blue ;D

oh boy!! i would suggest you get yourself a new 29er SS. get the right size that can handle a big fast horse like you.. and get it quick before the race. this might be your key to the podium!!

2009 Gary Fisher Rig - code name "root beer" man, that makes me thirsty for a root beer ;D - I likey-likey! sorry to hear about your frame. you really should consider going XL - that way, you'll have more seattube for your long-ass seatpost. hey at least now you have an excuse for a root beer .

Viking, I found one of the most talked about bike on mtbr.com, full titanium, fully rigid, includes a bashguard, and extra wheels in the back in case of a flat during a race. here's the ebay listing number- a great replacement for your RIP RIG. i think it's your size and color (pink is the new black), plus, your name is already on the downtube! ;D. you can definitely finish 1st place in Blue Mt. if you use this: 170264920480

Missed all the discussion yesterday due to Internet being down @ work. Viking, the GF Rig XL would definitely put you to the podium . I actually saw Dean (Grand Bicycle) yesterday and said that if they have it in the warehouse in NJ then you can have it the next day. Otherwise he'll have to order it in Wisconsin warehouse which will take a few days. I also mentioned to him that our group races and thought about sponsorship (atleast some jersey), and he is willing to do something for us. BTW, he hooked me up for 2 rear wheel (used good condition) for nothing.

Is that the two training wheel in the pictures? Maybe you can sell it to AKA slowmoe so he wont crush in CHP anymore. ;D
