Sorry Chute since you are deleting that thread today, could I post my opinion here.  ;D I think we don't have to commit ourselves all the time but it's always nice to give back to the people who maintains NYC MTB trails and specially for CLIMB and NYCMTB who fights for MTBikers to open more city parks and built more trails for mountain bikers. Without this big group do you think we will have this awesome trail we call CHP and Stillwell woods? But I guess majority rules!  First of all I would like to apologize to all active members of this group for bringing up these two delicate topics (having a Team Jersey and being recognize by IMBA ;D) I promise that all my intentions are sincere and for the good of the group...I thought? Anyway, we don't have to be a sub-team anymore, we can just enjoy the trail and If we have the time to give back to our trails as an individual that's good enough. For the team jersey we will still go for it, so just be patient I'm still working on the design and I will post it as soon as I receive the new logo. As for the color we should stay with the original color....pls. at least let's agree on this one. ;D And as we get more members we can have another discussion for the new Team Jersey next year. Ride Hard and and whatever happens don't DNF...This will be my new signiture. ;D |

First of all I would like to extend my appreciation to Jon for doing all this effort for the tribe. Secondly, I do agree that we should stick to the oridinal logo for our team jersey and regarding putting our group as a sub team for other groups, I think that were better off being an independent one, all we need to do is formalized our group structure like electing a group leader or president(u all know what I mean). If anybody wants affiliation with other group its no problem coz I myself is a CLIMB member but lets have our main focus and loyalty to our group. So lets keep the fire burning and continus to ride
