O.k. guys I know we just finished the Tymor race but there's another great race coming up on the 31st of May...Singlespeed-a-polooza. Anyone up for this? I know Viking registered for this race months ago. ;D In my opinion this is one of the best trail I've ridden and this trail is really fun on a singlespeed. For the tribesmen who don't want to race but wants to try a different trail this is your chance, you can ride the race course for free. It's an awesome trail! We can make this as a road trip and pre-ride our next race course The Dark Horse Gallop on June 21.I'm thinking of not joining this race but go there to ride their race course and be familiar with the trail. But if there's a few tribesmen wants to join this race I will definitely join too! P.S. you can only register online for this event. www.bikereg.com/events/Register.asp?EventID=7378

I'm also not sure if I will participate in this race on Sunday as something came up. I will decide tomorrow night if I'll race. As for the pre-ride tomorrow. it's still ON, I was thinking, on our way to Stewart to pre-ride the race course maybe we can stop by in Graham Hills to do a quick lap (6 miles). It will probably take us an hour to do a a full lap in Graham Hills. maybe 30 minutes for Rachet. ;D So after we do a full lap in Graham Hills we'll head up to Newburgh to pre-ride the singlespeed-a-polooza race course.(10 miles/lap x2) So whoever wants to come just give us a halo!

O.K. guys, I just got back from Stewart Forest to pre-ride the race course. The race course are really fun for singlespeeders. My 29er set up was 32X20 and I think 20t cog in the back is a little too big. I spin most of the time than I push my bike. The course is very fast and not technical at all, IMAO Cunningham trails are harder. I should say this one is somewhat like Stillwell but much much longer. There were two area that I pushed my bike but that was very short climb, I think if you have momentum you can clear those climb. For Viking and Rachet they won't have any problem clearing those climb on their 16t cog. ;D I'm still debating if I should change my set-up to 32X18 but I'm afraid that on a race pace, my second lap, I may hit the wall. There were few muddy spots but nothing compare in Tymor Park two weeks ago. If tomorrow doesn't rain, the course should dry up a little and it will be mucho mucho fun. To all tribesmen who are thinking of joining this race, you guys should GO FOR IT! This race course is very fun specially when it's dry and I will say it again.. .NOT TECHNICAL AT ALL and NO CLIMBS bigger that you will see in Stillwell.
Here's what I did today but lost some signal during my ride so the miles were a little off. www.trailguru.com/wiki/index.php/Track:6NOZ?units=imperialBTW, JONTOTMAN IS 100% INwww.bikereg.com/events/ConfList.asp?EventID=7378

The gallop was my first race last year and I was running 32x18 and hit the wall pretty bad. I'm in better shape now but I will go 32x19 for this race. It's nice to not come to a complete stand still
