I'm thinking of pre-riding the race course this coming Wednesday (6/17/09). If anyone wants to join me I will be there at 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM.  |

O.K. I went this morning to pre-ride the race course and after that ride I decided I'm gonna sit this one out. The prologue was fun but after the big climb on the gravel road it was a total mess. It felt like my rig and I were swimming in POOL OF MUD. With the weather forecast for the next 4 days is RAIN, I think this race course will make the previous race at Tymor Park looks very dry. ;D Once you get past those pool of mud though (approximately .5 miles) there's only isolated sections of mud. It's a shame because I was really looking forward for this race, Stewart is one of the fastest and funnest places around. I had a lot fun in Singlespeed-a-palooza but sorry AKAGC you'll have to catch me on the next race. For tribesmen who's racing this Sunday bring your swim shorts and swimming goggles. ;D Seriously, be careful out there. Don't get hurt on Father's Day! I was slipping left and right this morning on a smell the flower kinda ride, I can't imagine myself riding on race pace on that race course conditions.  |

I have a fully rigid loaner for the race  Would have been perfect for a nice and dry Stewart, but now.....who knows. Anyways, I'm in, mud is fun ;D ;D |

good luck Viking, and race safe. You forgot to say Good Luck to my boo (AKAGC-MOE) He's racing free style on Sunday. ;D Unless he don't show up, he will start collecting letters on his record. He's first race this year was DNF If my boo decided NOT to show up this Sunday, it will be DNS - DID NOT SHOW or if he decided to race he could also get a DFL - ( DEAD F*#@ing LAST) ;D ;D GOOD LUCK GUYS! |

we are on!!! were on folks! come on out and get dirty!! mike rowe might even show up!! i mean really? what is this a beauty pageant board? its freakin mountain biking! they make mud tires for a reason!! go support your local shop and buy up a set!! in all seriousness we are working on a major mike adjustment. we are fixing some of the trouble spots and dealing with what we can. we take trail conditions and rider safety very seriously. course will be what it will be. look forward to seeing you all on sunday!! pre-reg closes tomorrow night! ;D |
