I'm in for this Saturday. Has anyone tried the 8.30 group? Crazy fast?
I'm thinking I should join the 8 am group the first time to see how it works out. Is anyone else planning to ride this Saturday?

Viking I did twice, the latest was on Saturday. Yes they are fast and strong guys! They sustain their speed about 24 mph on flat if they're hammering. But I think you can do it, I'm sure you're on the same level with those guys. One of the guys in their group said if you want to really go with the fast guys. They usually ride on Tuesday's and Thursday's, not sure if it's the same time in the morning though.
I'm riding this Saturday, let's join the 8:30 group just for fun. I'm used to getting dropped so it's fine with me. Lol!

Btw Viking here's my gps file on Saturdays 8:30 am ride. connect.garmin.com/activity/49726636 I started my gps as soon as I leave home and stopped it when I get back home, so it mess up the true average speed of the 8:30am triangle ride. But it's still doesn't matter I got dropped after 27 miles of the ride. Lol! They usaully ride about 53-60 miles depending on the mood of their leader. |
