This was taken 5yrs ago. My son is now 12. Nowadays, I just like to watch in the sidelines and play mechanic. I have not touched my gas r/c for over 5yrs now. I was checking out the 1/5 scale FG cars but I have no one to play. Definitely they are expensive hobby.

I was checking out the 1/5 scale FG cars but I have no one to play. Definitely they are expensive hobby. wow..he's still a baby there! 3PJ, got same TX - but rockin' spektrums with my 10scale and changing stock module, when I go 8scale. Gotta go spektrums in BK as it got big crowds like that on a weekend...no way you can go with a stock module, less run time. Coz u gotta ask around for channel conflicts. Nowadays, all got spektrums. But then u never know, plus the thought of a Newbie coming over the track so excited to try it out his new $1G RC. And not even thinking of channel conflicts.....DISASTER!!!! With the spektrums, turn it ON - run and no worries. The downside, drivers stand and track, bumper to bumper. Maybe nowadays all new radios have same tech, but for sure RTR's still on AM or FM. lets go RIDE please......this is why - I should not be thinking of RC that much....

Nice videos there Mr. Chute. I like that hard wood floor of yours. Nice and smooth and lots of space for an indoor track.

Lipo batteries with brushless motor?..because of the sensitivity of lipo batteries I'm still using the traditional way (Nimh batteries) , so if your using one be careful and follow the instructions exactly before charging those..
