Talk to him about sponsorship and about our team so they'll be aware of the tribe and moe people could get the savings as well Ok. I'll see what he thinks about it....... |

I spoke to the guy I know at Brands (Dan) and he said that he wouldn't mind his shop being on the Banner and he will also give 15% off on parts and labor for all the Tribesmen. He did ask if we could put their Brands Cycle and Fitness logo on the banner. In addition, he would like all our names and telephone numbers (that's what they use at check-out primarily) and obviously for identifying Tribesmen. Let me know. |

Thanks for looking out for the tribe RXR. I guess more logos we have on the banner will make it more colorful. Let's be thankful that we're getting 15% off here and there and also the recognition were giving them and vice versa. It's kinda like we can't count the money that we don't have yet if you know what i mean  . Let's ride and improve or just ride for fun and everything else will fall into their right places. I think Jon or somebody is putting the finishing touches on the banner and will post the final design. Ride on! |

Nice! I don't get any discount when I buy from Bicycle Planet  , which is closest to me. I guess that's bec. I have not developed a relationship with them as I usually order online - which more often than not is cheaper. Ok. I'll see what he thinks about it....... Mr Rawhide. why don't you ask them if they want their LBS name to be in our Banner, that way you can get a little discount from them when you go there....If they say why , tell them plainly that we have a very good "race result" last year, we attended mtb races and we made "podiums" , they are lucky to be in our banner coz we will carry their name to the front line.

I might also add that we have a very good result in overall standing on NYS mtb race, that we ended 3rd yes THIRD over all standing last year....how's that for a solid record???!!!!

I'm not too fond of going there myself. They seem to be a bit more expensive and not very friendly. In addition to that, they already have a few guys that they're sponsoring. If anyone will like to add there logo I'll need it no latter them today, I'll post the drawing of the banner tomorrow Now the I'm designing it I realized the we need logos or something to fill the banner with otherwise its going to be boring to plain

Some of our fellow members suggested that if they want their logos on our banner, PEAKS Bikes and BRANDS Cycles should sponsor the full cost of our banner. After hearing both sides suggestions, I think it would be fair to all members who supports other LBS not to advertise their company's logo unless they are willing to sponsor the full cost of our team's banner. Just my 2 cents.
Like it I said before I'll pay for the banner myself I just dont want to go back and foward with this topic I dont have time for this
