Congrats on the new Ti 29er bike Merlin. Very nice build and components. I like the pretzel toptube and downtube. Also the bling I9 hoops.

Nice 29er Merlin! Sweet setup. Wish I could get on the bandwagon but I get this nagging feeling I may be too short for a 29er, so unless I try one (and feel the difference) I'm sticking with a 26. Fortunately I'll be able to demo a 29er probably this weekend so let's see what happens!

@defyant, it took me many years before converting to the 29er. This turns out to be better for me. In the trail, I see where the 26er line goes vs where the 29er can totally disregard that. @d, I am still dialing-in the bike and my left thumb is only @90% better. Perhaps anywhere non-rocky or technical will be good for now. |
