Wow i got 5th Jon? i have no idea, i was just pedaling as hard as i could.  It was a fun and beautiful day today guys how i wish all of us was there. Most of ecg was there, i was alone.  Tagman was joking at me that he should take care of me and invite me to their bbq. Hahaha, he said Jonton might say something if he will not invite me Link for the pic Jon? I had an airtime on that pic, it was a downhill. |

Thank you for the results Jon. I left early yesterday I felt so displaced when they took their group picture. Btw I was not alone yesterday sorry Danny . He even asked me why the other people are not wearing their mtbnycstyle jersey. Hehe |

thanks for the support guys. As you know i did not finish the race however I learned good lesson from this one never buy kenda small block. This is second time I have to drop the race because of tire failure a twig punch throught the tire, yet my light weight tube intact. anywho~ special thanks to Garry for bbq and sorry for not attending it, I had sour stomach from sports drink.. hope to see you guys more at the race, all of you Attachments:

That's a big rip freearrow! I think i could happen to any tire, not just kenda SB8. I have a maxxis ignitor that also got ripped from the sidewall. So what kind of tire do you have in mind to replace your kenda SB8? If you are concern with durability, get a tire with 60 TPI. It has a weight penalty compared to a 120 TPI casing. check maxxis and schwalbe tires. just my 2 cents.

i just ordered kenda nevegal, stick with the small block for front for while. I like to try for schwalbe next time, thanks.

i I like to try for schwalbe next time, thanks. I heard a lot of good reviews about schwable tires but what I have is a little heavier Maxxis Ignitor that i have since last year and used it in Wawayanda and Ringwood many times last year and never had a problem. Yes, I am also tubeless by the way. |
