Hey fellow tribesmen. I got a Flip buddy visiting from California who used to live in Jersey. He's asking if anyone would like to join in an Epic Ride at Ringwood this Saturday. He is one of the fastest and strongest rider out there. He used to ride with guys in the Expert Level and is usually the fastest amongst them. He is just looking forward in riding especially that he shipped one of his bikes from Cali. to here. So, any one interested let me know and post......

RXR, I'm not sure if I should do an Epic ride the day before the race. It's very tempting though. What time you guys planning to start hitting Ringwood?

Na, I don't think it would be advisable to ride an Epic before the race either. He's probably starting @ 7:30 am. He said he wants to ride tons of new single track he found. I think he wants to ride about 50 miles or so but if I go I would probably bail at 25 miles.

I'm racing Sunday as well, would have loved an Epic otherwise.

I'm definitely not racing this Sunday so I might be up for this one RXR. My only concern is, I only have my single speed bike, so If I can't keep up with you and your fast friend I will bail out and do my own pace in Ringwood.

I hope you have a great time. Sorry I had to bail Jon. I was really looking forward to going back to Ringwood cuz I haven't been there in a handful of years. Maybe we can get a group ride there after this weekend. I really like those trails............

Does anybody feel for going to Ringwood soon...... I wouldn't mind going to Ringwood but I think majority of the guys are already set for Sprain Ridge this Sunday. Why don't you just invite Adonis to Sprain Ridge this Sunday and will hit Ringwood the following Sunday.

TGIF Ride Moe is missing Jon so much so he will be heading out to Ringwood tomorrow. I will be joining the dynamic duo like 11ish. Anybody care to join us? I still have room for two more riders or if someone needs a lift. Don't worry guys, we're still on for Blue Mt. on Sunday. Let's ride!

I'm IN, I will be glad to be the trail guide! Get ready for lots of freaking ROCKS and rock climbing ;D ADD: Just to remind everyone who's going tomorrow, Ringwood is not a fast trail like Stillwell or any trails in Queens and Long Island. You will find that we will climb most of the time if not walking our bikes so if you have a choice between SS or Geared I suggest you bring your geared bike. But if you are like me who only have one bike you will be walking beside me most of the time in Ringwood.

I would like to say kudos to Stumpmastah, PrancingHorse and AkaGC for surviving one of the most rockiest trails in Northern New Jersey. I wish we had more time and completed all the trails that I map out in my head last night but I guess we will visit Ringwood again next time. I hope you guys had fun and got all the work out you're looking for. Yes RXR you missed Ringwood again. I was wondering why you weren't responding to this thread yesterday and then just found out that you were away. This Sunday, the plan is Blue Mountain and this ride will be very easy pace. Check the Another round in Blue thread. P.S. just check the video thread later for the video recap in Ringwood today.

Jontotman,
Thanks for showing us around Ringwood, I don't know how we would get to those super technical areas without your guidance. That place always has something new every time I go back there and the new section is just plain sick. I can't wait to go back there again.
Ride on......
