Anyone else coming? Am I going to be the solo rep again? This will be a fun ride. We get to cross the longest pedestrian bridge in the world, I think twice even.

I'm on a vacation with the family but I'm thinking of doing this ride, since I did not complete my 125 mile goal last Sunday. I need to ride another 100 mile this Sunday to be satisfied. lol! I'm 80% sure but will confirm on Friday night.

Metro-North Rail Road's Hudson line terminates in Poughkeepsie, with trains to and from New York City running hourly during the day on weekends. Bike-permit rules and restrictions on the number of bikes per train are suspended on the following morning trains: 6:20 and 7:47 a.m. from Grand Central north to Poughkeepsie. These trains arrive early enough for all distances except the century and group rides. Those arriving by train will be able to check-in, drop off a bag, and start the ride at the station in Poughkeepsie. They will finish and pick up any baggage at Dutchess Community College at the end of the day; from there, it's about 3 miles back to the train station.
In the afternoon, bike-permit rules and restrictions on the number of bikes per train will be suspended for riders returning on the 1:40, 2:40, 4:00, 4:35, and 5:40 p.m. trains. (There is also a 3:40 departure, but due to high ridership on the train, we advise not taking it with your bike. Regular bike-permit rules and restrictions will apply for the 3:40 train.)
Off-peak fares are in effect on Sunday. Purchase tickets before boarding trains and save. Free parking is available at many local stations. Please read station parking signs carefully. For further information visit the MTA website or call Metro-North at 212 532 4900.

If the Long Island Harbors Ride was any indication, this ride should be really good. BikeNewYork.org support services were awesome during that ride. We missed the 100-mile cut-off time and ended up doing 70+ miles instead because we spent too much time at the rest stops. World's longest pedestrian bridge: walkway.org/
