I'm thinking of having a few brewskies after tomorrow night's ride. This bar in New Hyde Park is famous for their Buffalo Wings and it's only 10 cents each every Mon, Tues, and Wed. Let's go!

Great ride last night guys! And thanks for the after ride brewskies! Guys something weird happened on the west side of Cunningham Park last night. We stopped in an area not noticing a male caucasian until he stood up from behind a tree ( tribe, he was well tuck down behind the tree) don't know why he was there or who he was waiting on. He just stood up an walk away. Weird!

The trails by the D & R Canal has a nice flow so I guess the average pace should be around 8 to 10 mph. The only negative aspect is if it's going to rain or snow on or before Friday.

Rob, The trail is not technical at all. It's all about riding in the cold, in the dark for more than six hours. Like a boy scout, you have to be prepared with all the gizmos you can bring and most of all, get some good sleep during the day. And lastly, chances of bumping into a bear in the wilds is not slim. ;D Roll
