Speaking of secret training, Moe and I will be at Cunningham today 4/21 @ 1745 hrs. Anyone is welcome to join. We will take it SLOW cuz I just finished getting rid of my bug so I'll let GaryCruz (aka Moe) lead. ;D ;D

Hey Stumpmasta! I heard from the great vine that you can keep up now with the horses.  Talking about keeping up with the horses, Moe and I were dusted by Huffymaniac, Viking and Bigboy as ususal last night.   And OmegaFSR got caught in our surveillance camera last night doing a quickie secret training. ;D ;D |

The results are in from last nights adventure.
After a nice friendly warm-up loop at just under 40 minutes we all new what was coming. Extra credit to Moe for leaving jon in the dust...
Sergio got to lead the second loop. Just before entering thrilla we caught up with a kid that slowed us down for 30 seconds or so. A few turns into thrilla Sergio was feeling the heat and made a mistake, Vince saw his chance and passed. Personally, I am now trailing by five bike lengths and heart rate is already entering red territory.
Over the bridge (this where you want gears) flying down the drop and turning into Green Apple. Those rocks and logs are nothing fro my 29er and I'm actually feeling strong. Vince in the Lead, then Sergio and me, all within 15 seconds. Then turning in the the little black loop I
$%#@%$#@ screw up. I fall and lose another ten seconds. I see Vince and Sergio flying down the trial as I'm doing the last turns of the black diamond. Two minutes later I see Sergio doing the climb with sharp turns. I'm gonna get him! Less than a minute later I see Vince getting off the ground all covered in dust. He's crying, but i don't think it's not from physical pain. Could be a bruised ego. We're taking a short break to make sure nothing is broken and continue...............................

..............I'm starting to lose more ground in the twisties. have to stop at viper to fix a rubbing brake pad. i know it's over for me. Coming back over the bridge I see Vince and Sergio maybe 30 seconds apart around the log pile area. I'm breathing heavier than Moe in Ringwood now!!
Next time I see Vince is when I enter the down hill turns of IMBA. Coming down the big berm after the pump line I see Sergio hauling ass on the long stretch with the new jump. he comes in at 31.26, Vince not far behind and myself, maybe two minutes later. FYI: The clock was stopped during Vince's face plant.
