Guys i know some of us plays basketball. When the weather gets really cold, I'm just wondering if any of you wants to play basketball. I think it's a good way so to continue our fitness level through next years race season. I'm asking this because maybe some of you knows a covered court that we can rent for 1 or 2 hours. ;D ;D Lets go team!

@ Erwin, I played organized b-ball for so many years until I had a knee injury and that's why I got into mtb. Anyways, the public school by LIE and Ocenia (near chp trailhead) has a gym that my old b-ball buddies still play. They play every Monday and Thursday from 8-10 pm. I'm sure we can just walk in and pay as you play. You also can become one of the regulars if you would like to save a spot. I actually spoke to the guy who's in charge today and I told him I may stop by next week. LMK.

Cool Wet! Let's do it Monday, haven't played for a while but would love to do it again this winter. How much is the pay as you come fee? Do they play on weekends too?

I gave up basketball when I moved to States moons ago. It is frustrating to play with people who is at least a-feet taller and 100lbs heavier than me. Likewise with football and soccer. LOL!

We'll just meet there at 8pm wet just please let your friends know that I'm coming too. Thanks merlin i agree with the taller part but you don't have to be heavy to be good at basketball, actually it's an advantage to be lighter and quicker. See you there? |

I have to find my Addidas Pro-Model shoes. Seriously, no more B-ball for me.  If I showed up, I will be bringing my old Litespeed bike to ride around the court. LOL! |

Guys just an FYI for all the members who would like to play basketball. Prancing and myself will be playing tonight with his buddies at the school near chp trail head. It's the corner of Horace Harding and Ocenia. Who ever are interested, game starts at 8 to 10 pm. See ya!

Prance thank you very much for inviting us to play with your old basketball buddies. Rob and I had a good time last night. You have a good bunch of basketball buddies, very nice and friendly ones too. If I met these people before maybe I would have not gone into biking. ;D ;D Both of my legs are still sore right now from all those running and jumping, it's been 2 yrs since i played my last one. Even though I sucked ;D I enjoyed my work out and meeting new friends. I think we played 5 games last night up to 10:10 pm, love it but my legs were not cooperating, hopefully in the coming next games my legs will feel better. Ramon(giantmasta) thank you also for coming, man you can shoot some hoops. Prance again thank you.   |

Anytime Irwin! I'm glad you guys had a good time and met my old friends also. I have known and played with these guys for at least 18 years now. BTW, both of you and Rob have some serious game. I just know when someone knows how to play the game  . Hopefully I can join you guys next time, I didn't have time to come home and change before coming to the gym. And speaking of Giantmastah -- he is one heck of a shooter and he gets better if you guard him  . I'm sure he will be playing soon too! |
