Thank you Rxr for the ride today, very comfy ride @ 80mph ;D ;D. You're not only fast on the bike but also on 4 wheels man! ;D ;D. And thanks to all who rode today, i had a good time @ 20 miles. Seems really a long ride, can't imagine on 2 laps on that one. .

+1 Great ride today! I can't believe it was 99*F out there. I guess you don't feel it much when you are having fun. DH/Stewart trail is truly a fun trail. It reminds me of Stillwell Preserve minus the sand and 50x bigger. Fast flowing. Beginner, SS, SS HT, SS Rigid, Full sus friendly. Thanks Jon for organizing this pre-ride. Likewise to RXR for driving, 5 people, 5 bikes + gears and a blasting AC. Bigboy, sorry I did not see your Blackberry. What is that phone you are playing with in the car on our way home? I am up for another pre-ride whoever is interested.

What an awesome pre-ride yesterday. Thanks to RXR and Freearrow for driving the tribe. I can't believe we will do that twice on August 1st and some of us will do it on their singlespeed. ;D Wow, Lia you can ride with the boys and once in awhile you were able to drop me too at the back. The only advice I can give you is stay away with those thorns I think they like to poke you a lot. ;D BibB sorry to hear about your BB, I hope you transferred all your info from your BB to your new IPhone. Freearrow and Chute, good job guys for doing 20 miles on your single speed. Erwin, Merlin and Chute, thanks for all your GPS. We stopped and back track a few times but did not get lost. Although I may not be here next weekend I hope whoever did not make it yesterday's pre-ride can organize another pre-ride next weekend. Don't forget to bring extra water as all 8 of us were out of water on our 18.5 miles. Pre-ride pictures will be posted in Pic/Video thread soon.

+1 Stewart is huge with lots of singletrack branching off from the fire-road. I figured if one needs to bail out, just look for the fire road and head back to the parking lot. Here is my garmin data for pre-ride connect.garmin.com/activity/40932956 It is not a perfect execution since we had to back track on a few turns. Nevertheless, we ride the whole race course. 3 GPS + 1 map is better than one!

I maybe coming back next week car pooling with several CLIMB guys. Leaving @8:30am since they are coming from Wading River. It is not confirmed yet but that is the plan. Plan a whole day if you are riding and bring lots of hydration. No less than 2 liters.
