Those are Brands Cycles' group riders. They were well organized. Yellow jersey at front and yellow in rear. They maintained a constant 17 mph speed to keep everyone together.

I can't make this event tomorrow (I forgot my nephew is getting christened) . You all have fun out there and I'm sure i'll be missing a great ride.

First of all we would like to thank Brands Cycle for organizing the 2nd Annual 55 mile ride. The weather started cold but turned to be nice. As expected I'm out of shape and really had very hard time to keep me going in the beginning. We split up into 2 groups, first group were BigBoy, ErwinH., Jusluv2fall and Paul and the 2nd Group were Lia, Levi, RatchEt, Chute, Poisonarrow, Mike_X and myself. First group started to put the hammer into their pedals and we never see them anymore, except to Chute as he was able to caught up to them. On the 21 mile Ratchet also decided to make his move so only Levi, Lia, Poisonarrow, MikeX and myself in the back. 3 miles into the halfway point we got stop due to an accident, 2 riders crashed and we waited for at least 10 minutes until help arrived. As we were coming back Poisonarrow made his move and I decided to tail behind him and let him do all the work lol! So we dropped Lia and Levi, and just the 3 of us in the middle, MikeX included. We stayed 3 together for about 15 mile. Poisonarrow kept on pushing it and we caught up to Chute who was cramping on the 40 mile marker. MikeX got stuck at in the red light and we lost him. About 49 mile Danny and I also caught up to RatchEt and Danny kept going. I told RatchEt that if I push a little more my legs will cramp. So Ratchet said we will just slow down and we completed the 55 mile together.
When we arrived at Brands, a long, long table of foods (eggs, pancakes, sausages, bacon bagels, muffins, juice, coffee, fruits and many more were waiting for us. We saw the first group already had their brunch and relaxing on their seats scratching their BA_ _ S lol! I heard that Rob aka juluv2fall was so so fast that when he arrived at Brands there were no foods yet. hahaha! Definitely good times, thanks guys and gal! Sorry Lia and Levi I couldn't stay much longer to chit chat with both of you as I have a long drive back home.

On a sad note: my brother in law TAGMAN from ECG was pushed by a prick car passenger while he was riding his bike on the road today. He crashed and broke his arm. When I spoke to my sister he is still in the ER. Let's all pray for him and wish him a quick recovery. The guy who pushed him caught by police.

This is a very sad story for tagman Jon, I hope he'll be ok. Thanks to all and Brands cycle for the good ride today especially for BigB and Paul for your help. As for Rob this is very true!

Good news Tagman is out of the ER with only bad bruises and deep cuts but no broken arms.

I am glad that everyone made it home ok.

Thanks to Dan and to Brands Cycles for a great 55mile ride. I had to stay with Lia because everyone had decided to take off. We missed a turn and ended up going back to where the first accident/rest stop. LOL! Luckily, I called Brands and they came to get us back into the right direction.

Plenty of food and drinks back at the Brands. We saw, ECG, Rob and Danny waiting for us.

What a great day it was! Thanks to brands for the 55m ride and good food! thanks to chute52 for the ride and to Mr.prance for the spot, sorry you missed this one. So the fast guys can roll! Rob, erwin, paul, BB aka rough rider killed it from the beginning. never saw them untiil the we reached the finish line. The rest(dan jon chute lia levi & me) was just doing their own pace at the back. Its gonna be a long way for me to keep up with fast guys.. and a lot to learn when it comes to riding road bike and shifting 101. need to ride more with you guys.

It was a nice event over all I was hurting from the day before actually from my 7.25 mile run Friday, them 50 miles Saturday and them this ride, No more riding till I get my new bike, today actually lol

from our 1st ride (me & Ratchet) little Triangle then yesterday's Brand's is too much --- Thanks to them (Brand's - Breakfast), that hits the spot after the ride. I was gonna go for my 3rd helping. But then, they didn't provide a cot for me to relax. Just kidding!!! Thanks Boyz - FUN day!
