got up at 6 and went back to bed when it was pouring out. yup same here....over heard the rain inside the house, and said "No Way!" so who went to do some mudfest riding? I was very close to back out but saw the street outside my house drying up so I figured it can't be that bad and decided to go for it. The trail was great, not muddy, just grippy and not dusty as stilly can be. Did four fast straight laps and got in the car just in time to avoid a severe rain shower. Wifey was very surprised to see me home by 11am

FOUR STRAIGHT LAPS! you really should meet Rob and race together! he's been looking for a partner to go to races with and it seems like you're the guy to do it! next time you go to Stilly, look for a guy with a gold Jeep with Fox stickers on it. he's a good guy, but very competitive - very good for racing attitude. I just got lazy after waking up at 5:30 with the rain pouring. RacerXRacer, who lives about 10 min from Stilly said that it really poured out there, so we thought trails must be wet and muddy, so I didn't bother. glad you had the opportunity. keep up the great work, Speedy!

So the day goes, 2 loads of laundry (wash & fold), 2 movies - then an oil change of my son's bike: later a visit from omegaFSR for some Kamikaze Shots.

Thanks to getting back so early I too managed to do laundry and go to the theater to watch new batman movie, pretty good flick. I later heard on the radio that four soccer players got struck by lightning in Hicksville. I'm really glad I was in my car before that crazy storm hit that area. SSG; I heard that Rob guy just wants to fight

. SSG; I heard that Rob guy just wants to fight lol. dude, he's fast, he's a racer, and he won't cut anyone any slack. if you're not even within he's level, he'll talk crap about your riding, and your buddies as well. plus he won't like it if he thinks you're faster, or can even keep up with him. pure competitiveness with no sportsmanship. just win, win, win, is his motto! try him, who knows, maybe you'll wind up a full time racer as well, but please, be grounded! ;D

Oh wowowee 26+ miles I missed that epic ride but It's o.k. I decided to go with Enduro914 and his crew in Stewart Forest (AKA - MTA STewart Airport) this morning and we did the DARK HORSE 40 race course but of course we didn't do the 40 miles, we probably rode approximately 15 miles of the race course. Viking was right we "the tribe" should go there, they have tons of sweet, smooth flowy single track. We didn't see any long steep climbs, I actually managed to ride my ss bike with very minimal pushing. ;D Thanks also to Ben's (future tribesman) brother for serving us pancakes, filipino fried rice and sausages after the ride.
