First of all I want to congrats Erwin and Bryan for representing the tribe today, job well done guys, as per the race, I started strong on 3rd position them the 1st place guy went down, so we passed him them the guys I was following made wrong turn and I follow so 2 guys took the lead, I chased them and passed them a few minutes after, now I was 1st for a mile and my chain over shut a took me a few seconds to fix it but by them they passed me so I got on my mission and passed one as we were completing the first lap I passed the the guy, once again I was on the lead, them I saw and passed Erwin, I starting to pace him and riding as a team and we flew through the course, on the uphill I lost it and hit a rock and I saw something flying the I realized the if was computer I pick it up and went on,a by them Erwin passed me, we continued riding hard, on the second up hill my chain slip again that was when the guy from my age group passed me again and never saw him almost untill the finish.

Okay guys here's my race recap. ;D BigB and I started the day differently today. I suggested that we should try warming up really well by doing 1 easy lap around the course. So we went but this guy was hammering during the warm up lap! So i just let him go and let his anger and strength satisfy him. ;D ;D I thought that warm up was really good for us! We were sweating like pigs and i felt really good! Waited for the race to start couple of minutes and then we lined up. There were so many racers today and i started at the back again. I was going to jump at the front but it was so tight at the starting line. Saw Kalog at the front and i was mad again of myself why I'm at the back. Once the horn sounded i tried to pass as many people as i can and i think i was still in the top 13 after we got inside the woods. I could see Kalog and from then on, i made sure that he was always in my sight. After 2+ miles i saw kalog on the side of the road, i think he crashed. It was the same spot where Rob crashed last year. I slowed down a bit and asked him if he was ok and then went on my way. On the first fire road uphill. I passed about 7 or 8 people in my age group. At this time i was not sure what place i was in. I just kept pedaling, passed a lot of guys and kept looking at the number on their calves. I thought i was doing really well b/c all i saw were 3's,2s and 1's and my age group number was 4. ;D ;D LMAO! 2 miles before the end of first lap, i saw two guys in my age group and i passed 1 of them at the last steep long uphill. I passed the other guy during my second lap. About 2 miles in on my 2nd lap, BigB caught up with me. I let him pass and told him "Go ahead man", I will try and stay with you but don't wait for me. But deep inside i was saying to myself, "There is no way BigB will drop me b/c we have a 2 minute gap between us". If he pulls away, i know that i am doing really badly! So the more suffering begins! This time i dug deep and keep telling myself you can do this man, you can do this. LMAO but it's true. I thought BigB slowed down a bit and we started alternating pacing each other. ;D We passed so many younger racers, i even asked Capers when we passed him if there were racers in my age group who passed him too. He told us, " I think you are the first one guys" I was feeling really good! ;D ;D LMFAO! Long story short after the last uphill, i told BigB "That was it man, let's go!" I saw that BigB was suffering a bit ;D ;D after the last uphill so i passed him and tried to pace for us. After the last downhill out of the woods, I told him " This is it man, time to sprint!" ;D He out sprinted my chicken legs with his giant legs in the end. ;D ;D I thought i got on the podium this time with the top 3 but after we checked the results. I was only on 4th place. I was shocked when the announcer at the awarding said that we are going 5 deep in the 35-39 age group. LMAO I was ecstatic that at least i still got podium even on 4th. ;D ;D The course was 8.02 mile long we did 2 laps(16.04 miles)

It's just very satisfying when you work so hard for it for so long and inches by inches you're getting to where you want to be. I'm going to work more harder since I'm really free in the summer. ;D ;D
