Did a solo ride today to the wall and back. First ride of the week, too much alcohol, food and late night sleeping at Windham. ;D . Stopped by at Peak bikes to buy co2 and forgot to press resume on my garmin.

Ok today was my first attempt at a real road ride solo, d**n I am tired. I went to Seaford Oyster Bay Rd. I'm going to guess that is the wall. My average speed was 17.9. Would I be able to ride with the triangle group?

Good job Brian. Yes you can ride with them but not sure how far you can extend your lactate capacity. Just show up and find out. I have ridden with the Mineola boys and got dropped. Knowing the terrain helps.

What is the mileage of the ride normally? I guess I need to train more on my own till I can join them. Any other road group rides I can look into?

They go a minimum of 40miles and up. Just check their garmin above. What is the mileage of the ride normally? I guess I need to train more on my own till I can join them. Any other road group rides I can look into?
