Let's go oranges!!! Renato/BigBoy/Tavo are in. Let's get a big group and we can ride as a group until the timed hills and then hammer uphill and meet up at the top. Erwin, register man ... I need my sparing/sufferfest partner. Guys, this ride has everything. Breathtaking views, great rest stops and the energy is intoxicating. This is what riding is all about!!!!!

I have no $190 for gfny right now. I will register next year ;D Btw our time gap on the third climb was a dope. How was it 4 sec. difference ???when there was like an inch of a difference between your front wheel and mine, more of like 100ths of a seconds difference I guess, that was a photo finished!. And how can you climb so fast man  I'm like 144 lbs and 5'10. I need a rematch on this one doe and quick. ;D ;D I'm just kidding Gust!  ;DThat was an epic battle between you and I on the timed climbs. I can't wait for next year. I hope more oranges will come, the more the merrier. Thanks for the sweet ride I really appreciate it and oh yeah the mind games on our time climb battles. Hahaha, epic!! I love it! |

You definitely pushed me on all the climbs. If it wasnt for our friendly war up the climbs I would not have done so well. Man, 4 second difference is crazy!!! We absolutely have to have rematch and rematch. You totally took me to another level. I also need to incorporate some of your climbing style as I news to get up on the bike more. If funny, it's like those old martial arts movies where two warriors meet and start copying parts of their fighting styles. Anyway, it was truly epic those battles up those four climbs with you. To be continued.....

About the third climb I think the difference in time despite that we finish virtually at the same time was that I started a bit earlier than you. Makes no difference, it was epic. That four second difference could have gone either way. I have post the video that I took with my GoPro camera. Unfortunately the battery died before the start of the times climbs but there's some cool video of you, Renato and me on the many trains and flying downhill!!

Yup that explains the 4 sec gap, the start. Please post the vid here Gust, we need to do this again on our BBQ ride and I hope more oranges will come. If we can include the first and third timed climbs on our BBQ ride, that would be awesome. I thought those are one of the best climbs that area can offer. It's so decieving! It steep, it flattens out a little and then it kicks again and again!  |
