I just registered for 106 miles ;D It looks like we are all in for a nice group ride. The more the merrier. Lets all start at Greenport High School (instead of VIP-Mattituck H.S.) and after the ride we can hang-out and relax for awhile before heading home at Greenport Pier, Claudio's Warf Bar for a beer & fresh oysters

My wife is registered for 25 mile. I took her to Bethpage/Massapequa preserve path and she actually liked it. She will be using an old Titanium Litespeed mountain bike.

Not only it is true that "The couple that rides together, stats together", but, more importantly, the "guy who has a wife/significant other ride with him, has less trouble getting bike purchased approved by wide/significant other"!!!

Thanks Tavo. I get away with certain things. My wife is the type of person who Loves to save. I am totally the opposite. ;D

I hear you brother. Same situation at home, but my experience is that the more my wife rides the more she is ok with the riding toys.

I totally agree with you Tavo. As an example, my wife started to see the difference in a good cycling wear. Ha ha ha ha, it gets expensive from here on. I hear you brother. Same situation at home, but my experience is that the more my wife rides the more she is ok with the riding toys.

Also, they are getting the same benefit that we get.. Healthwise, the fun, new experience. Nice gears/clothes.. Lighter bike.. Totally right Merlin, it gets expensive from there on.
