I watched his "training bonk rides" video and he trained for this race at Stewart for 2+ weeks. Good job Jose!

I watched his "training bonk rides" video and he trained for this race at Stewart for 2+ weeks. Good job Jose! This is what I'm talking about Merlin. TRAINING!!!!! For him who doesn't ride that much mtb at all let alone single speed. You have to practice at the course that you want to race. You can have all the balls in the world but without training and practice you will end up hurting or worst killing yourself! For us who always ride at CHP maybe Stewart trail(ssp) or DH will not be that much challenging to us. But if you throw in Blue, Jungle and Waway man it's going to be super hard, ok you get away with it in cat 3 b/c a lot of racers also walk the tech sections but in cat 2 and up, NO way brahh!! TRAINING and PRACTICE!!! Btw 52 MDR stands for Most Disciplined Rider? ;

and DFL stands for Dead Fking Last, Someone the we know almost got the trophie at SSAP.
