It was very hard. I podium but not sure if second or third (Cat 3: 40-49). I had to leave right after my race to make it to my son's baseball game. Don't know how else everyone else did but I heard that the Cat 1/2 course was insane. I found the Cat 3 course crazy so I can only imagine Cat 1/2.

Congrats to Sushi and Tavo! Both of them took 2nd place in their respective category. And to all all Orange Machines who partake this very long and technical race course, well done oranges. Special thanks to Tagman, my sister, Kalog and his wife for the post race food. As for me, I wasn't supposed to race today due to lack of riding. My last ride was the Chainstretcher race and skipped my every Tuesday solo run the past two Tuesday. But when I found out that plenty of Oranges showed up this morning I decided to waste my $40 and join the Suffer-fest. Although no riding for two weeks prior to this race I was happy that I did not swept today. ;D Our (Cinco and I) age group has the most racers in CAT 2 (34 racers) and it will be very embarrassing for me if I will be the sweeper for today's race lol! I'm happy to say that I got 23 out of 34. And I got a photo to prove it that I was happy. ;D LOL!

Good job guys and congrats to all! But I just want to share my 2 cents. I think it's better for us as a group that we atleast ride 1 mtb every week, Saturday let say. A technical trail like Blue, Jungle or ringwood which is the closest to us all and spend about 2-4 hours just riding not racing ok and getting use to rock gardens and all that sheet. We can always car pool and share the expenses. Honestly I hate losing, I want to skin these mofo's and eat their livers, ok that's not 2cents anymore more of like 50 cent(joke ;D) We do a lot of road biking and running so fitness level is not really the question, what we need is the technical skills.
So who wants to go to the jungle this weekend? My son finished his bible school so Sunday or Saturday is cool with me, I can do weekdays in the summer. Let's carpool and share the love again boys, lets stop beating each other and bring back the love. ;D ;D Hehehe ok lol but yeah.
