This is going to be my Cervelo R5 build thread. VWD stands for Vroomen.White.Design which is a step up in the regular R5 China. It is closer to the project R5 CA in fuzziness. The R5 geometry is exactly the same as the current R3 or R3 team but different carbon lay-up. Different ride quality. I was going for the S-series (S3 or S5 in particular) but so many in the know told me about the stiffer ride quality. I leave the S-series for the hardcore. 
I love going for the long epic rides.
This year, I asked The Bicycle Planet to help me build her up. They are a Cervelo authorized dealer and I figured they have many experiences in building high-end bikes. I don't have the proper tooling to install the BB Right bottom bracket (PresFit30), pressing the headset bearings, cutting the steerer tube and measuring/transferring my old bike configuration.
They have been building my R5 for three days straight now. Slowly but surely. No room for mistakes are experimentation.
This is one of the best way of transferring your bike settings. Needless to say, they have met beyond my expectations. So far so good!
