I am a Fraternity brother of tenderfoot (ata, m not sure) or tender heart. basta something tender. he was the one who told me about MTBing in queens, and introduced me to this website. He is also the one who emailed me about your bike for sale. O.k. I thought the inquiries was a hoax.I live in flushing, queens. i would like to see the bike, at your convenience, but since its valentines weekend this saturday, and you have a lot of princesses around you, maybe the weekend after? Sure we can meet the following Sunday (2/22) in Cunningham and if the trail in cunny is in good condition you can test it out but I don't have flat pedals though.
btw, where are you located? I live in Rockland but all my family lives in Queensyou can email it to me at jp93g@hotmail.com O.k. I'll email you next week or give me a call to confirm.

hey jontotman,
since it might snow this sunday, how does next weekend look for you? saturday am? and just in case you are filipino, an added incentive for postponing, there is a 4hr wait for jollibee, so hopefully in 2 more weeks, it'll be more manageable.
Spunks, salamat.

Hey Jontotman,
My Sunday just freed up. Are you still available this Sunday? If you are still up to it, I would like to check out your bike.
I have been to Cunningham Park twice, but only to the dog park. So you have to be more specific where you want to meet.
Thanks.
JP
ps. Since you are friends with Spunky, Im pretty sure that you are a stand up guy. There are no problems with the bike right? like in the shocks and fork? Cause i dont think that i would be able to tell. I'll just take your WORD for it. Hope to see you soon.

Hope to see you soon. as far as I know there's no problem with my bike. The fork has been service once, my LBS replaced the rubber gasket but other than that the bike is race ready only the rider is not. The rear tire is a little bit wear out but if purchase my bike I have an extra new maxxis crossmax tubeless tire I may include with the bike. I will be in queens in the afternoon to attend a kids party. If you want to see the bike tomorrow it will be late in the afternoon, here's my no. 917-892-9531 call me today to confirm if you want to meet up tomorrow late afternoon and I will let you know the exact time and place we will meet.

You need the SPD type shoes and cleats for the shimano xtr pedals. You can tell an SPD setup from a LOOK setup, I recommend going to a bike shop and seeing both for familiarity. About 80% of the pedals and shoes out there are SPD or Shimano Pedaling Dynamics compatible.

Jon, where can i get the shoes to go with the pedals? what brands are ok? where can i get them? online? bike shop? thanks again. JP You can buy shoes to any good bike shops or buy it on the web. As long as SPD type shoes, unfortunately you also need to buy a SPD cleats for your XTR pedals cuz the cleats that was included in that pedal was broken. I'm not sure how much the cleats cost but I think you could probably ask the bike store where you'll plan to buy your shoes to hook you up some SPD cleats. You got nothing to lose to just ask.
