Sweet bike. First of all, if I didn't already, Congratulations on your third child man. That's awesome. I'm so happy for you and your wife. My wife and I will be trying for our second so you know what that means as well. I don't think that I'm gonna sell my Titus though cuz I've put so much time and $$$$$$$ on it. If anything, I would sell my 29er Rig once my back or joints become to painful to bare. Well any way, keep me posted on what's going on with the trails by your neck of the woods. I really want to meet up with you up there. I missed the trails over there. Most importantly, best wishes for your growing family.

jontotman, im very new to the sport, im interested in getting a bike also. But please forgive me if I have some very amateurish questions:
1. how heavy is the bike? 2. can the bike carrier thats attached to the trunk of the car, be used with your bike? your bike seems to have a different configuration courtesy of the rear shocks. 3. im around 5'7, a lil heavy on the waist, would this fit me? 4. when and where can i see the bike?
ps. i was originally planning to just get a new trek 4300 disc, which one is heavier?
thanks guys. hopefully I do get to try out the trails in cunningham park

jontotman, im very new to the sport, im interested in getting a bike also. But please forgive me if I have some very amateurish questions: 1. how heavy is the bike? The original weight with the original specs. was 28 lbs. according to Specialized. Now with some of the upgrades the bike probably weigh less than 28 lbs. 2. can the bike carrier thats attached to the trunk of the car, be used with your bike? your bike seems to have a different configuration courtesy of the rear shocks. I used a Saris Bone bike rack and it fits perfectly to the frame of the bike up to the rear shock. 3. im around 5'7, a lil heavy on the waist, would this fit me? I think 5'7" is the starting point for a medium bike. Do you see my avatar here that's like my waist too. ;D So yes this thing will fit just fine.
4. when and where can i see the bike? Most probably on the weekend either on a Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning. Where are you coming from though?ps. i was originally planning to just get a new trek 4300 disc, which one is heavier? I'm not familiar with the 4300 Trek but I think 4300 trek is a hardtail bike right? If I'm not mistaken because of the cheap parts included on the Trek 4300 even though it's a hard tail it will be a little heavier than my bike probably in the 30's but ask your LBS to weigh it for you.thanks guys. hopefully I do get to try out the trails in cunningham park Just wondering who do you know here in this site?

jontotman,
I am a Fraternity brother of tenderfoot (ata, m not sure) or tender heart. basta something tender. he was the one who told me about MTBing in queens, and introduced me to this website. He is also the one who emailed me about your bike for sale.
I live in flushing, queens.
i would like to see the bike, at your convenience, but since its valentines weekend this saturday, and you have a lot of princesses around you, maybe the weekend after?
btw, where are you located?
you can email it to me at jp93g@hotmail.com
