Share your experience and suffering of this years H2H races. ;D
As for myself I started the season feeling good. First race at Wawayanda boom DNF ;D, as the season progresses I was moving up slowly but surely until I podium(3rd place)at Taconic which was sweet b/c that was also the place when I got my first place in cat 3. After that everything went downhill, I finished the last 3 races of the season 7,7 and 8th place.
For me it's a good and bad thing, good thing in a way that I don't have the pressure to move up to the next category b/c I sucked at tech courses ;D and bad b/c I trained hard and was expecting good results for myself. I don't race h2h just to suffer and have fun, i raced it thinking i can win. I might say I'll do my best but deep inside I'm thinking, I'm going to destroy and rip you apart. ;D Hahaha. But don't get me wrong, I'm a super nice guy.
You can do all this positive mindset but you still have to walk the talk/walk. Lol At the end of the day If you don't train with these type of technical courses there's nothing much you can do, unless you're naturally gifted riding good at technical which I'm not. ;D
So next year I will still stay in cat 2
, thank God. ;D. My plan is to race just only 6 races for te season b/c why would you race 8 when technically they will only count 6 out of your 8 races, unless if I will have some DNF. ;D
