WOW! talk about total dedication of the mud squad. I was gonna go home after finding out how muddy it was, but decided to stay and find out for myself. only did one lap and decided too muddy for me and my bike and went home.

We get to experience how to control our bikes on slippery and wet surfaces. We should ride more often to get our conditioning better. Looking forward on our next weekend ride.

Tagman, all I gotta say is "give it a chance". SS is not easy, especially if you're new to the scene, but your body/legs will adapt to it. sure you spin a lot on flat grounds, and mashes a lot on hills, but soon, your endurance level will go up along with it. when it comes to the point when hills are too steep to climb, remember that there is no shame in walking (believe me, even gearies will have a hard time on same climbs). I'd say give it a couple of months, and if you decide it's really not your thing, then sell it. until then, enjoy it, it's a beautiful bike (if you had a "HUFFY" badge on it, believe me, I'll be the first on line to get dibs for it ;D).
