It's been raining. It will be muddy at Cunningham park. Perhaps, will be hitting the road today.

Where do you do your road riding? I'm a roady myself This will be my route when I finally get a road bike. I was only able to do about 14 miles when I used my FSR MTB Westbury-Bayville Loop This is a hilly, un-marked street route. Take Post Avenue, Westbury village, north to Wheatley Road. Cross Route 25A to Wolver Hollow Road, then head east on Chicken Valley Road to the Planting Fields Arboretum. Proceed to Oak Neck Beach in Bayville via Shore Road. Return via Bayville Avenue, Piping Roak, Wheatley and Post Roads. Totals 30 miles.

Mistah Fox - how do you usually go there? Do you ride from your house or drive and park your car by the high school? Please let me know if your using your road bike, would like to join you, never been that route. Nice alternative for the group when the trails are soft and muddy from all the rain we've been getting.

My house is not far from the high school - would love to go riding with you, Highlander. Hopefully, I get my road bike soon. The rains were definitely frustrating this summer.

I do the service road also up to RT 135. Usually stop by the big lot before you start heading back west. Its almost 40 miles roundtrip from my house. I don't ride with the Tri, they're too fast for me, what else is new.

yup....CHP is rideable, as usual the regular corner/spots are muddy. But then after that, it's great or less a bit tacky. So, I am thinking of riding again tomorrow(03/11), before the washout. ratchet, I will be coming from Forest Hills....LMK alright 9ish.
