We are doing a late afternoon epic ride tomorrow to start at our mtbNYCstyle secret trail around 5:30. If anybody is interested to ride with us, just give us a buzz so we can give you the exact meeting place by the trailhead which can not be disclosed on this thread.
You can contact Prancing Horse who mapped the trail last Saturday, Moe aka gary_cruz and Ratchet for the directions on how to get there. This is our alternative trail if you feel like doing something moderate when Cunny is muddy.
Please don't expect too much of the technical stuff you are used to but you can hammer some uphill sections that could be challenging for you or not at all depending on your level of expertise.

Possibly extending through Alley Pond and end up @ training ground ;D. Anyone interested is welcome to tag along. We need some mileage guys...... Hey Prancing how was your training? Did anyone showed up? You're right we need to put lots of mileage to be able to race competitively with these horses in NJ and Upstate N.Y. I always lurk around in their forum and read all their training regiments. I'm telling you we need to ride at least 3- 4 times a week or more. These people in NJ ride their bike to work, to trails and most of them logs at least 50 or more miles a day. Our training is just no comparison to these horses but if we can just encourage our fellow tribesmen to ride more and push ourselves to ride a little harder, someday our team will be recognize. ;D All we need to do is to keep posting our rides and invite our fellow tribesmen (especially the noobie) to join us on our every rides and to our weekend road trip. That's why Stumpmastah keep doing what you're doing; mentoring our noobie tribesmen and encourage them to join us on our Sunday road trip. Although I need much much more training, I like the the feeling that I felt this afternoon in Graham Hills, I felt that I improved as a rider compare when AKaGc and I started riding our mountain bike 2 years ago. AkaGC and I used to go to Graham hills 2 years ago and that trail always beat the hell out of us. When I went back to Graham today with my SS 32X20 set up, 90% of the trail I managed to clear it except for the big climb in the end (note: cleared it 3 weeks ago with my 1X9 set up though ;D) Anyway, enough with my crap ;D I was just so happy that I can't help not to share how I felt after my ride today. ;D So where we going this Sunday? ;D

Actually gonna hit CHP Saturday morning and attempt a couple of laps. I also thought that this would be a good year to start riding my bike into work again. Not ready for the races, but I think I want to at least see if I can get to the point where I might be able to contribute (keep in mind that I am an old guy ). You guys think it'll be safe to ride Cunny after all this rain? Don't want to tear it up.
