Global Volunteer Day at Cunningham Park 5/2 @ 9am

We have a great opportunity to partner with Mcgraw Hill corporation on May 2nd at Cunningham Park.

They are providing a few volunteers to help maintain the park but we need your help too. The more people that come help out on the trails, the better chance we have for additional support from Mcgraw Hill corporation in the coming years.

They are donating $1,500.00 towards trail maintenance tools as well as a catered lunch for CLIMB volunteers.

You don't need any experience, we will provide tools and instruction. It will be easy work, we are going to clean up the entire trail system of trash and cut back the thorn bushes along the trails as well as replacing and cleaning signs.

Meet: 210th St and 67th Ave trailhead
Time: 9am till 1pm

Light rain doesn't cancel, heavy rain date May 3rd same time and place.

I will be in Queens early in the morning to drop my bike to Rachet's shop cuz I messed up my rear derailleur yesterday in Waway. I might stop by in CHP to take some photos of tribesmen doing some volunteering or secret training. I can't stay that long though cuz needs to be back in Rockland by 11 AM.

I'm working today so I'll just save the volunteer work for next time.

Volunteered today along with Viking and Bong to clean up Cunny. Finished at 12pm. Collected about 2 dozen large bags (per organizer). Lunch provided by Mcgrawhill corp. at a pizza shop by IOG supermarket.
