Hey guys. Anyone know approximate locations where there would be any of the above? I've had a rash since riding there andI attributed it to a food allergy (of which I have) but it seems this particular rash has been around too long on my legs and arms. Come to find out, my buddy that I rode the trail with also has the rash.
Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.

I haven't got a poison Ivy or any plants above mentioned but I know couple of tribesmen (Tagman and Prancing Horse) got one last year in CHP. I don't know exactly where they got it in CHP. Hey guys maybe you can help DumboNomad. Maybe Tagman you can suggest the medicine ointment you used last year.

I've been lucky too, despite tons of riding and trail work last year, I never got it.
PI is pretty much everywhere in CHP, no way to avoid it if you want to ride there unless you stay on the jump and pump tracks.
I heard an immediate shower after ride should help. If you get anyway, use Tecnu.

MR. DUMBO NOMAD "OMADS" I have this medicine (Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream ) USP (augmented 0.05% ) and it's very effective. It's a steriod and it really penetrate in to your skin, just put 2-3 times a day and on 3rd day it's gone - just make sure you don't scratch it so it will not spread out.. I always get poison ivy in CHP-

Thanks guys for the info. I have it but mine is just about gone since I have been medicating and keeping the hands off. My buddy on the other hand does not know when to stop scratching and he has major blisters and skin discoloration now. He sent me pics and it is U-G-L-Y! Even though he lives close to Cunningham, he may actually stay away from it now that he's had the rash. We used to ride all the time at Blue Mt and Graham and we never got poison ivy. I take him there once and look what happens. LOL I will still ride it though cuz I find it a great trail and very convenient. Thanks again for the replies.

I read from an article before that taking a shower within 2 hours after riding lessens the effect of the poison ivy.
