If I can have my in-laws to babysit my kids tomorrow I'm thinking of pre-riding the race course. So whoever's free tomorrow and wants to tag along, I will be there at 4PM with some of the peeps in other forum to show me around. Again, only if I can get a babysitter tomorrow, I will confirm tonight!

Hey guys, what categories are you all racing in??? Jon, are you going SingleSpeed? Bigboy, AkaGC and myself will race CAT 2 and I think Kalog and Rolex will stay in CAT 3. I will race the geared category but I'm not sure if I will use my Single speed bike. I'll let you know tomorrow after I pre-ride the race course. Rachet, just in case I need you to convert my ss to 1X9 before the race can I bring my bike to your shop on Friday? ;D And yes Ratchet if you want to race this Sunday but you don't have a ride let me know I can pick you up in Queens and we will go there together.

O.k. guys I went to Kittatinny today to pre-ride the race course. I went there with my SS and my set up was 32X20. Overall, I managed to clear all the climbs except for one. The last 2 mile of the race course, there was a very short steep climb (can cleared it with a momentum) followed by a long steady climb (not steep though) with approximately 20 more feet to clear the last climb I finally gave up and push my bike. IMHO the race course was not technical at all, although it's not as smooth and flat as Stewart Forest; few small rocks here and there(but it's nothing compare to Ringwood or Wawayanda)In my opinion Kittatinny is still a fast race course. I didn't notice any technical switch back at all. The only thing is, on a race pace and if someone in front of you stop on those short burst kinda climb you'll end up pushing your bike too. Oh yeah there's few area that you can make a move if you want to pass any slower racers (like me) in front of you so you don't really have to give it all out on your first lap. In CAT 3 it's a different story since it's a shorter race you have to give it all you have from the beginning to the end. Good Luck to fellow tribesmen who will race this Sunday I hope I gave you enough idea what to expect on the course. Here's the race course: www.trailguru.com/wiki/index.php/Track:7MZ2?units=imperial Race course Maphere's the google earth map we did today.

Good luck to all you racers and enjoy the nice day tom.
