First of all I would like to congratulate Rolex for finishing strong on his category (7th place out of 27 racers) and of course Kalog and AKAGC for finishing the race. And to you Bigboy, I'm sorry that you had a mechanical issue after your first lap especially that you are strong today, better luck on our next race. It ended up a very nice day today, the trail has some isolated muddy spots but all in all the race course was in great shape. I decided to join the single speed category on this race because I didn't have the time to go to Rachet shop to convert my bike to 1X9. I think would not do that again, almost all the racers in Viking and Rachet's single speed category are horses, I was demolished by most of them today. ;D All those small climbs that I said when I pre-rode the race course last Thursday became BIG climbs on a race pace, it seems that all those climbs that I cleared few days ago couldn't clear it today. Anyway, I'll post some photos tonight when I get home. Again, kudos to everyone who represent mtbNYCstyle today!

Thanks Jon and congrats to you too and to the rest of the tribe who join the race today,,Kalog now you know the advantage of gear bike to some races like this next time use gear bike on the geared bike category,,I stayed with this racer #768 wheels until the finish line little that I know that he will grab the 1st place on his category 40-49 , so pretty happy with the outcome of today's race not to mention all the alcohol we drunk last night at Rol's house, scotch is a no no before a big race like this lol lol
