I have been asked by the FilAmTri Club, a group of pinoy road cyclists to invite you all to their FIRST "NO DROP-NO TIRAHAN" PINOY RIDE and POTLOCK PICNIC, on Saturday, Sept. 19. The contact person is Drew Casino. Please respond to this post or send him an email at acasino.law@gmail.com if you would like to go, so that they know if they are to wait for you before they start their ride. If you are not riding but just want to meet fellow cyclists, albeit from the other (dark? - joke lang Drew) side, you can show up anytime. I know some of you are secret roadies ;D Note: This invitation is not limited to roadies only but is extended to everyone.

weather forecast for saturday sept 19, 50 mile all Pinoy ride --- partly sunny high of 70. no rain.
if by friday night there is even the slightest indication of rain in the forecast --- we MIGHT cancel.
we want a very dry day for the families and the riders.
DIRECTIONS TO THE BEACH:
- LIE (I-495) east
-take exit 37, roslyn, willis
-left at first light (willis avenue)
-right on 7th light (old northern blvd) NOTE: count the yellow blinking light as light number 2
-left on first light at bottm of hill (the only light)
-right 50 meters BEFORE the 3rd light (yes 50 meters BEFORE the 3rd light)
-take first right
-enter gates (do not pay $20)
-look to grass area to your left (will be there setting up)
-park anywhere
SCHEDULE:
9:30 - 9:45 arrive, arrive , arrive (if you want to arrive earlier that is up to you)
-set up bikes, comb hair, put on jerseys
10:00 --- if everyone is present --- we depart. if not a slow group can depart ahead.
10:20 --- second group depart --- will meet up with frist group around mile 5 / 6 and ride together from there.
ANYONE ARRIVING AFTER 10:20 --- MALIGO NALANG KAYO SA DAGAT MAG ISA. SEE YOU AT 1:30
10:30 - 1:30 RIDE, 50 miles, one break, speed 15 - 21 mph.
families play, eat, swim, sleep, talk about us etc
1:30 riders arrive. short 2 mile run for some. eat
2:00 - 4:00 parlor games, eat, swim, volleyball, basketball
4:00 awarding of prizes, report from arland, dsitribution of filam tri apparel, recognition of extraordinary feats, introduction for those who are new to AA. eat
5:00 eat ulit

FOOD --- will be announced in a separate email by wednesday. we are still waiting for others to commit to their contribution.
ATTENDANCE --- so far 18 pinoy roadies have comitted. half are from NJ. there will be at least 15 families present."
