So I ended up riding in Ringwood, NJ this morning with few mtbnj peeps. We were amazed how dry the trail was this morning. We rode from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and we all had a blast except for me during the last hour and half. First my helmet cam mount broke the first hour of the ride so I only managed to take a short video of our ride. Then since I only brought two bottles of water, I ran out of water after 2 hours of riding on those rocky terrain on my single speed. Anyway to make the long story short, I ended up cramping and locking both my quads and calves. 
Lucky that Steve MTBNJ have extra water and spared me some and that saved me from bailing out and I managed to kept up with them during the last hour. (Note: they were all riding their geared bikes so I was huffing and puffing trying to catch them 
)
Yeah! Btw, just learn new awesome single track there, I'm sure you guys would love it specially if you guys like climbing long switch back.

and always it's better to ride with somebody for safety and support especially if you're riding extended hours. Jon I see you kicking ass already for the upcoming Palooza (Parusa for 28 miles ;D). Keep riding Jontotman! those climbs and the rocky terrains will pay off big time for this upcoming 2010 (around the corner) racing season.
