FYI Wawayanda Race its the same day just keep the on mind before you register to it, and be caution of in-expierence riders I seen many silly accidents on this tour I agree Biggy, I witnessed first hand two incident when two cyclist collided w/ serious injury, this is because of very tight gap between riders on the street , so be careful , got to look on surroundings in all angle all the time and no need for speed just enjoy the ride and scenery.

TD Bank Five Boro Bike Tour is now closed. Wawayanda is the way to go now for May 2nd.

HAHA, Hey Rol, When I did 15 miles yesterday I was huffing heavily, I thought I have the legs but I don't.."so marker, NO more" I'll eat dust at the back of the race pack, btw I'm allergic to dust haaacchhhooo!

If you're running full MTB tires, you may want to switch to cyclocross or hybrid tires. I finally switched back to a rigid fork and put on Specialized Armadillo tires. They make a world of difference. A lot less rolling resistance.
