Anyone interested to do their base miles on the road this Sunday (2/21/10). I just map out our plan route today on my way home and the exact miles will be 25 miles one way so we'll be doing 50 base miles round trip. The route has some few decent hills so to those who loves to climb this ride will satisfy your craving for uphills. I encourage everyone to join me even if you don't have a road bike. Bring your MTB as this ride will be a slow to a medium pace. We will stop on every top of the hills and turns to gather the group. The route is from GWBridge (N.J. side) to Rockland State Park via 9W and back to GWB. So let's go guys and let's do our miles on the road this Sunday.
What:Road Ride (road bike/ mountain bike)
When: 2/21/10 wheelsdown 9:45 AM - 1:30 PM
Where: Meeting Place: 2347 Hudson Terrace
Fort Lee, NJ 07024
How long: 50 Miles, Approximately 4 hour ride (round trip with few stops)

Just want to thank Greg (grnamin) and Bong (jeprox) for showing up for this ride. Kudos to both of you for riding with your mountain bike on the road today. I hope next time more fellow tribesmen can join us. I finally got to meet you Greg in person and like I said Greg, just keep on riding man and next time you'll be able to complete the ride with us. Oh yeah and next time don't forget to share your baon na hopia so your back pack will not be as heavy. ;D Bong, good job man for completing this ride on your mountain bike. I hope the endorolytes that I gave you help get rid of your cramps. Sorry I had to split on the last 12 miles but I'm glad to hear from you that you made it back to your car alright. I'll try to post a short video of our ride when I get a chance. Until then keep cranking those pedals guys.
