SS-Polooza 2010 race course pre-ride

O.k. guys we are planning to pre-ride the SS-Polooza race course on two seperate dates. Everyone is welcome to join us.

1st Pre-ride
Stewart Forest, Newburgh, NY/ Wawayanda State Park, NJ
April 17,2010 (Sat.) 8:00 A.M. (RAIN OR SHINE)
Confirmed Riders: OldDawgMoe, Jontotman and Ratchet.

OLDDAWGMOE will pick up Ratchet at his store in Parson Blvd. at 6AM so whoever wants to join us and you are coming from Queens or Long Island try to meet up with them. After pre-riding the Polooza race course, on our way back we will hit Wawayanda and pre-ride last year's race course. If you plan to race Wawayanda on May 2nd try to make this ride.

2nd Pre -ride
Stewart Forest Newburgh, NY
April 21, 2010 (Wed.) in the AM, exact time TBA (RAIN OR SHINE)
Confirmed riders: Jontotman, Bigboy and Ratchet

Bigboy will also pick up Ratchet at his store in Parson Blvd. If you can make this pre-ride and you are coming from Queens or Long Island try to meet them in Parson Blvd.


I will post the address of the trail head soon. Please post if you can make it to any of this two pre-rides. And if you have any questions just give me a call 917-892-9531

Well you will ride this race course the day of the event anyway so we will see you there. Maybe you can help me and moe push ourselves a little bit more that day .

OmegaSS29, Chute, Ratchet, OldDawgMoe and I had a blast in pre riding the Polooza Race course yesterday. Special thanks to Ratchet for bringing the food. The weather cooperated and did not rain. SS-Polooza is so much fun as the single track was very fast, flowy and 95 % very single speed friendly. Everyone racing on Sunday will definitely have ball over there. Unfortunately for me I will have to stay on the sideline as I was injured yesterday when we went to the other trail Wawayanda. I made a big spill and dislocated my shoulder. It really sux as i was really preparing for this first two races coming up. Anyway, good luck to everyone on Sunday have fun, ride fast but be safe. I might stop by to cheer you guys up and take pictures and video.


Ratchet and OldDawgMoe thank you very much for calling 911 and staying with me in the ER up to my house.

Hey John sorry about the accident! Look at the bright side, at least it did not require surgery and for what I understand you drove yourself home. You may need to stay away from off road for awhile but I think you can ride road ;D. LMK! Anyways, get well soon.

@bigboy, I can join you if you want to do a preride in Stewart. But Friday is the only day good for me. I'll be working this Wednesday.
@erwin, if you want to take jon's place, you can try my spare SS bike and see if it will fit you.
