Avatar BR - Firmware!

FYI...

bought the Avatar movie today, pop it into my Pioneer BDP and boom...and it says "dics cannot be played"

so...I went straight to Pioneer website, and then there's the solution ;D ;D

check with your manufacturer, best bet you may need to update your firmware

OH BTW...I know someone here who got a Pioneer,,here's the link - if you didn't do it yet...

I bought my copy at Best Buy for @$22 when it came out. It comes with Blu and standard DVD.

Awesome Blu-ray player btw.

yup...with the PS3, I think - it auto update by itself and it's versatile.

used to buy it from CC, but then I will go to BB now.

the BDP....sure it is, load times doesn't really bothers me and firmware updates. But the built itself and performance... upscaling plus CD playback is great.
