Thank you Rxr. I brought it to dean yesterday and his mechanic checked it and it's really a crack. He said two weeks for the replacement, so i'm hopeful i can get it before the Morris race. Mind you how much is the lynskey 29er ti frame and where did you get it? I'll just have it maybe as my extra frame just in case something happen to my replacment frame again. Btw maybe cuz i ride it almost everyday now thats why it broke but not for pedaling hard. ;D I had the guy I know, Dan, at Brands Cycles order it for me from Lynskey which at the time was selling for $1395 for 2010 but he took off $200 off for me. It's unfortunate that it had to happen to one of us. But I'm glad that they say 2 weeks only. Wow. You lucked out Erwin. To be honest, that was one of the reasons why I didn't buy Carbon. Besides the fact that it was too stiff for my back/body, I didn't like the chances of it cracking from out-of-the-blue like that. And you didn't even crash it. Oh, did I tell you to stop pedaling too hard. ;D

Sorry Erwin, I can't recall whether it weighs 3.1 lbs. or 3.3 lbs. Oh, sorry, that's after eating dinuguan, with binaguuang, laing, lumpia shanghai and 2 plates of rice. (sorry for the spelling, don't speak it and definitely don't write it) ;D

Hi Erwin, To answer your question about 29Ti frame from another thread, I think Jerry can get them for you. Likewise to RXR's favorite bike shop. If you go with Independent Fabrication frame they are MTM (Made to Measure) at no additional cost (Bike Junkie is the dealer). That means, you will have a bike frame that fits your body for ultimate in performance and comfort. Linskey makes great Ti29er also. I cannot recommend a Merlin, Titus or Seven as I have not seen one in 29er. Anyway, riding a Ti frame is like riding a small travel full suspension bike. It is comfortable that enables you to want to ride all-day-long! It is very resilient metal that will probably last you a long time. Well, let's hope it does last you a long long time. My Merlin frame weighs 2.8lbs size 16.5" which is a medium but I have it MTM. It is perfect for me. In my case, I cannot blame the bike for being so slow compared to everyone here. However, I am still waiting for a leg transplant. LOL! Cheers!

Wow Merlin you have a very light frame! Superfly is lighter maybe 40 grams or less but that is nothing compared to the durability of ti. I'm going to call Dean today and ask about my Frame. Hopefully I'll get it before the Morris. Btw you mean Jerry can get me a lynskey 29er ti frame? That is great then cuz he gives us 15 % discount. Thank you.

That Superfly you have is feather weight! I think I have a seat collar and headset installed when I weighed my frame but nevertheless it is in the lightweight category. Jerry at Peak can get you a Lynskey. I can get you that 15% throughout the Island if you wish to shop where CLIMB discount and face value is accepted. It is extremely important to get the correct size frame if you are going with Ti. If you size too small for your height/weight, you may have just bought yourself a noodle. For example, Merlin Bikes use thinner and smaller diameter downtube on their medium size frame compared to larger frames which uses larger downtube to compensate for the larger rider. Just an fyi.

Good news on my frame warranty. :-) Hi Erwin,

I was able to track down the warranty claim through the shop and it looks like it was submitted to us on June 2nd a replacement frame was shipped out on June 4th. The frame shipped out of Wisconsin and is scheduled to arrive at your shop tomorrow (6/9). Enjoy your new frame!

Very impressive on Gary Fisher warranty! Thanks guys, you're right Rachet got a little worried about the LM race but it's all good now. I'll stick with my endoru for training and make my superfly a race bike only? Hehehe maybe I'll train with it sometimes but not everyday now.
