Recap: (this is the same recap I mentioned in Facebook): I went downhilling in Diablo Freeride in Vernon NJ yesterday and really had a good time. That was the ultimate adrenaline rush considering that I was in the green beginner's trail most of the time. I ventured in the blue intermediate trails and almost regretted because I almost ate dirt and rocks. Luckily the 8" Fox fork in the front took care of that. I also met this guy named James in the parking lot while eating lunch and I bumped into him again in the trail just when he regained consciousness after a really nasty fall. He was convinced that he had a concussion because he could not remember what happened. He also had a 2 inch gash above the left elbow which was giving him severe pain. I kept him company until we reach the base of the trail. After Diablo employees patch him up, he told me that he wants to do a couple more lifts. This guy is hard core. I think we should visit Diablo. It is really a lot of fun. $125 includes bike rental, elbow and shin pads, full face helmet, lift, and taxes. You can bring your own body armor if you want which is highly recommended. Nice job Jeprox! Hopefully we can go there as a group sometime. Sounds like a lot of fun!

I've been thinking but the 2.5 hour drive from White Plains maybe too much for me. Plus I just bought a new bike and I would hate it if I see a better deal in Windham. Would you be interested of going to Diablo during the weekday next week? There are open til 7pm. I am going to use one of my vaca days. Hopefully my new 2009 Mongoose Boot'r will be here by then. Let me know.

Wet, I will be glad to show you the beginner's trail anytime. That's the only trail I go. Lol. By the way, I need a bike rack (similar to yours) that is attached to a hitch (my don't have a hitch either). Can you please help me? I have a 2008 Nissan Sentra. I getting tired of my Saris rack. Thanks!

Thanks! Hey Bong thanks! First up you need to get a receiver hitch size 1.25. There are two sizes 2" and 1.25". I would suggest getting the smaller size so it would look proportion with your car. Then you just need to figure out which manufacturer you would prefer for your rack. Your choices are Thule, Saris, Softride (Mine is Versa Rack), Yakima, Swagman, Curt etc. I wouldn't get a roof mount rack If I were you coz you wouldn't want to put a heavy downhiller up there. Sorry for getting back to you so late. Been busy with family lately. Good Luck! PS You can buy an adaptor from 1.25" to 2" if you want to buy a 2" rack.

Thank you Wet. Yeah, I need a hitch. I am looking at Thule. I like yours instead of the roof version because my DH bike weights a ton.
