Hey Rob, that is a good start. When you get tired of that one gear just shift it up or down. ;D At least now you have several choices of gears. Do it by feel for the first couple of miles. Eventually, you will get the hang of it and will be able to shift ahead of time. thankz giantmasta!!! i have erwin to thank for that, he suggested to get that one w/ sram red but i still have lotz to learn about this road bike thing.trying to find the right gear to spin on...catch myself using it like a fixed gear bike ;D

Thanks Louie, Rob, everyone... It was a great ride at the Hamptons. Likewise, it was fun riding with Mike, his friend Don and Brands Cycle. I took an extra scenic ride around sag harbor (by accident) and ended up with 116 miles. Tour was normally 103 miles. LOL! connect.garmin.com/activity/50690216

You can do it Rob. There are days that you it feels like you can ride all day. 7 hours on the bike was loads of fun. See you guys at Brands Cycle Ride. That is 55 miles.
