I actually thought about that when I registered for the last race and decided to put CHP TRIBE instead. No biggie, I just didn't want the people from NYCMTB to get confused

No biggie, I just didn't want the people from NYCMTB to get confused I just hope I don't get lost this time and embarrass the tribe. ;D I registered early online to save $10- $15 and maybe help me to be more focus on my training.

Viking how come you did not put our team's name. Are you ashamed to be associated with the mtbNYCstyle members joining the Ringwood Race? Are you afraid that your fellow tribesmen joining the beginner's category will be last on pack. ;D ;D

I had my profile at bikereg.com from the last two races I did. I'm a proud tribes member though I'm practically sweeping in the SS category ;D

Hey Viking I went to Ringwood yesterday morning to smell some roses and discovered a new single track that IMBA and RVCCMTB.com were building. It was nice and sweet, there are some big rocks that you roll down and tight turns. I read it on MTBR.com that they will continue working on and finished the trail this weekend (7/26-7/27). I just hope that they don't surprise us and include that new single track in this upcoming race.

Looks nice! I would not be surprised if they change the race course to include a new trail. It probably depends on where in the system it is. The race in Newburgh included two trails that were only a couple of months old, so be prepared for the unexpected!! I will pre-ride the course as a warmup, that way you know what's coming. I would like to go the day before but I don't think I'll be able to since I will have family staying with me.

I would like to go the day before but I don't think I'll be able to since I will have family staying with me. I asked them in MTBR.COM if this new single-track will be included in the race and they said: "No, it will not be in the race this year. It actually does not connect to anything right now, but this weekend we will begin building the next section that will connect it to the race course. This section will not be done in time for the race, but we hope to finish it by the end of the year. Volunteers welcome and appreciated. Lot C 8:45 both Sat and Sun 7/26-7/27."
