I actually thought about that when I registered for the last race and decided to put CHP TRIBE instead. No biggie, I just didn't want the people from NYCMTB to get confused  I just hope I don't get lost this time and embarrass the tribe. ;D I registered early online to save $10- $15 and maybe help me to be more focus on my training. ;Di'm in ;D... just want to experience and hoping i will finish it. hey Prance Bullet and stumpmastah, and other tribesmen.... its your turn now.  |

we can go back to Ringwood one weekend before the race. I'm not sure if the race marker will be up by that time but definitely the day before the race. |

Aaighht racers, I have good news and a bad news. The good news is the race course map is already outlined. The bad news is all the down hill we did when we went there the last time are going to be uphill during the race. So those long down hill with rock gardens that we ripped and had fun with, it will be a grueling uphill on the race. Basically, last year's race had most climbs on fire roads and technical descents. This will be the exact opposite.  I see some pushing I remember we did the section called "race trail" like this last winter. It was Moe's favorite ;D Unfortunately, I won't be riding at all tomorrow but I think I will hit Ringwood on Labor day(sept 1st). I've got to do this lap twice before the race  |

We know that Viking, Rachet, AKAMoe and Jontotman will definitely be there since we already pre-registered for the race. I will bring Hamburger patties and bread. For those who hasn't register for the race but planning to race let the mtbNYCstyle team know your plan. ;D And for all other tribesmen who's not planning to race but wants to give us morale support and give us some pointers please come, we need all the support and tips on how to get those medals. ;D Stumpsmastah, PrancingHorse, and Bigboy you can still save $10 if you pre-register online. SSG, Tagman, ChuteKona, FsrOmega, Kingfisher, Giantmastah, jeprox and the rest of the tribes please join us to our Ringwood Fall Classic Race followed by BBQ and couple of beers. |

I'd like to be there and race, but even helping out and giving moral support would be impossible too. I got 2 commitments on that weekend....ride/race safe and smart!

Hey Chute tell them that you have a race that day and you've been preparing for this race since last year. ;D Anyway, we'll miss your jumps on the race.  AKAMoe I'm going to Ringwood tomorrow morning (8/27) around 9AM if you'd like to come let me know and maybe call Rachet if he can make it tomorrow too. |

How do you bbq? disposable grills?
Are we trying the course this weekend? I think I will go there monday AM since I have to pick up my sister at Newark at 1pm.
