I suppose I can do that and go water-cooled. It was a surprise to me that my son mentioned Alienware. Hmmm...

I suppose I can do that and go water-cooled. It was a surprise to me that my son mentioned Alienware. Hmmm... If you don't like the noise that the fans are making then water-cooled is the way to go. I have the thermalright true black 120 CPU cooler in mine with two 120mm fans. Thermalright has a new cooler which they said you really don't need a fan, it's quite a size but still cheaper than going water-cooled. You can check this site, this where I got my CPU cooler. www.crazypc.com/I have been using air cooler for forever and aircooler now a days are better or can compete with the watercoolers. The only downside is it's knd of noisy. I overclocked my CPU all the time, in the winter it stays 4gigs all the time. In the summer it usually stays around 3.4-3.6 ghz and I didn't even use ac in my living room. If it gets really hot like 95 and up degrees, I put it back to it's stock CPU clock which is 3.2 ghz and everything will be fine without ac. ;D ;D This summer 2010 though was different my wife decided to put an ac so I was happy running it at 4 ghz if I play games online. ;D Good luck with your decision Levi, you can't go wrong either way. Watercooler is not really necessary if your not overclocking your CPU. Imho Btw that website, they sell all the pc blings ;D From watercooler radiators, heat sinks to custom painted desktop cases. ;D Good luck!

To me, Alienware attracts attention by having that Alien looking case. The inside are easily accessible parts that can be bought locally at MicroCenter.

CoooOOOOoooL...so perhaps you can get a case that will assimilate an alien which doesn't exactly have to be an alienware product Or maybe, get other cases that are SICKER than Alienware like Erwin had mentioned. (It's funny..back in the days, the word "SICKER," wasn't really enticing to hear.. ;D)

I almost forgot some of my credentials. I had to renew most of them last year because of some of the changes in the industry. This one does not expire.

That would be fun. Building a super computer or super email/data server for small to large companies. Virtualization is more common nowadays. Nice, so when I decided to build me a super computer I will just mail all the parts to you or Erwin.

We bought him a baddass' 27" iMac and was happy as a clam. I am not surprised that the iMac ran lots quicker with Windows XP loaded in it. Lucky kid. Windows loading...

Is anyone using Google Chrome? I am currently testing it with my MBP and it looks like it is snappier than Firefox. Goodbye Safari and Safari Plug-in.
