Anyone has been to Manorville Hills County Park and ridden the trails?
It is on Exit 71.

It is far for me too. Eventually, we need to ride Manorville and the rest of the trails in L.I. Kind of like a bucket list.

Good idea. However, summer time is when the ticks and poison ivy are in full swing. Winter is normally the best time to ride eastern trails. Winter gear. A wool biking socks with your winter cycling shoes. 1-wool base layer or 1 Nike Pro or UnderArmor cold gear and a good windProof jacket. Winter gloves, skull cap, bandana or Bacalava, thermal pants or tights and let your engine generate the heat!

Exit 70 guys.
From Climb: LIE to exit 70 and head south, go past the 7/11, at Halsey Manor Road there is a new Fire House on the right corner. Go a half mile past there and you will see a sign for Hothingyer St. on your right but you are making a left at the u-turn lane. You will see the sign for Manorville Hills County Park and take the gravel road to the parking lot. You can only see the sign for the park when your on the east side of route 111 heading north. If you miss this turn take any of the next turns and get to the north bound side of 111. Once you are in the gravel parking lot, you will see a sign for the hiking trail head, diagonally across from that you will see a blue blaze on a skinny tree near a small dirt mound. That is the beginning of the mountain bike trail.
I've been there once. Nice rolling hills. Can't wait to go back.
Have you guys been to Meadowlark Park?

Thanks Brian. That is you neck of the woods. Meadowlark Park is another good park. Mostly flat. I am going to be on Christmas vacation around Christmas so I have more time to travel and ride.
