Me and Rob are thinking about going to Stillwell tomorrow. 10am wheels down.
Exploration pace first lap.
Medium pace second lap.

there is a second lap?!?! lol  we can meet at 9:30 at chp first if anyone else is interested!!! ;D it will be cold so bundle up. paging 'D' and the rest of the tribe are you down to ride tomorrow? |

Hey Rob, I went to Stillwell as planned. ;D It was cold at Stillwell today @36deg F and windy which makes it feel even colder. It has been months since I've ridden Stillwell and today I was again humbled by the terrain. It was equally fun riding with people I don't know to whom I just met. Great experience! On my way home, I stopped by CHP and saw Erick, Louie, Ramon, Danny and last but not least Rob. They have done 2-3 laps already. Jerry and his wife was there too showing me their video footage of Joanie doing some jumps. Everyone wanted to visit Nayong Pilipino a.k.a. Orient Express so we all had lunch there. Ben was there and we hang-out with Loi for a few minutes. It was a fun day today. Thanks Rob for the lunch.  Until next time.  |

sorry merlin did not mean to change plans last min on you!!!  i got at chp at 8ish and ran into paul and his friends!!! tried to wait for the 830 group, but got cold!!!  so decided to catch up to pauls group!!! after our loop we ran into 52 and that is when i called you and 'D'. sorry man i didn't think you would still go to stillwell, thought you would just meet us at chp!!! it was very cold today, i see i need winter shoes and gear!!! i haven't ridden in the cold like this for awhile. it was a nice ending at ratchet's place for lunch!!! till our next frozen group ride!!! |

No problem Rob. You did great hanging out in the cold since 8am.  All you need is your engine (natural body heat) to keep you warm in winter. A few items that I have that hopefully help you. Today, I was wearing a wool socks, 1 Nike Pro base layer, windproof jacket, gloves, bandana, skull cap. Go! |
