There is a big farewell group ride for Jamie Bogner (president of NYCMTB) happening in Blue Mountain this Sunday. I remember when Viking, Bigboy, OldDawgMoe and myself went to one of his "ALL BLUE MOUNTAIN RIDE" more than two years ago, where we rode all the single track in Blue Mountain. We had a good time that day. If we could get a big group, I may be IN for this. If you want to see the best of Blue try to make this ride.

Hey everyone- last Friday I accepted a promotion from my current employer to take a more significant position as Editorial Director with the company... in our corporate office in Loveland, Colorado. My family and I will be moving out there in a few weeks, and we'll be bidding farewell to NYC- a city we love and will miss dearly once we're gone. I will also miss all of you guys- we've had tons of fun riding and racing together, building trails and putting on events, and creating so much positivity for mountain biking in NYC.
NYCMTB will live on and thrive- we've built a strong foundation and we've got plenty of experienced folks who will step up to fill my shoes. In the meantime, I'd love it if you all would come out and ride with me one last time before we take off. So I'm planning a big group ride at Blue Mountain on Sunday the 22nd at 9 am in the back lot (yes, you will have to pay $8 at the gate to park, so please carpool or park in the MSR lot and ride over). It'll be more about having fun on the trails than a race-pace sufferfest, and there's a train to Peekskill that will get you to Blue in time in case we don't have enough drivers. If there's enough demand, we could even do a 9 am XC ride and an 11am Cross-stuntry-pace ride.
I hope you can make it- it would be good to see everyone before I head off to the mountains of Colorado!

Jon you're not doing the hudson 100 miles this Sunday? Sorry Erwin I can't make the Hudson century ride this Sunday. I have to be back home before 3 P.M. If no one can make this Blue Mountain (mtb) ride this Sunday I will just do my own century road bike ride to Bear Mountain or West Point as early as 7AM |

O.k. Blue it is then! Try to carpool guys to save you guys parking fees and try to make it to the parking lot by 8:45 A.M.
And if you guys and gals don't mind let's all wear our colors this Sunday as we say good bye to our friend and mtb ambassador for the north east region Jamie Bogner. Thanks.

i am down jus need to confirm with "Selma" if he is down to ride that sunday!!! as far as H2H Chain Stretcher #6 race i am 30%  it's my bday on 9-11!!! so the girlfriend and I are going to Hawaii for a week leaving that sunday. ;D will see if i will book a later flight...but don't want to get hurt on very tech race and not make or enjoy my vacation!!! |
